Georgia Mobile Homes

Georgia Mobile Homes are not residential homes that consist of several modules which are assembled in a manufacturing unit and then shipped to the site of construction. Those would be called modular homes. The various sections are combined into a single building using either trucks and cranes.

Modular homes resemble traditional homes unlike mobile homes in GA. The major variation is that these are constructed in factories and put together on the construction site. This provides time savings because construction on the building can begin in the factory when the site preparation work is being completed.

Typically, modular houses are constructed according to local state or council recommendations, so houses manufactured in a given fabrication facility will have differing construction standards depending on the ultimate destination of the parts. Not so with Georgia Mobile Homes. Wood and steel are common raw products for building modular houses but not with mobile homes. Georgia Modular house designing may be adapted for local specifications. For e.g., houses built for typhoon prone regions may have protective structures built into them to for additional safety.

Modular units are typically fabricated within a huge indoor facility on assembly lines just a car company. Such facilities use an automated line to transport the units from one location to another. Certified inspectors are on location to supervise the manufacturing and check that all regulations are adhered to during assembly. This is not always the case with Georgia Mobile Homes.
